Settings

Structured settings and conversations are stored in IndexedDB; file bytes are stored in OPFS when available. Data remains on this device except requests sent to the providers you configure.

On mobile phones the enter/newline key inserts a newline by default; send with the button or Ctrl+Enter.

Agent & Tools

Max agent steps per message

How many tool-use rounds (search, code, git, context) the AI may run before the final answer. Web search runs automatically in the background when needed.

Max Token context limit

Hard budget estimate for input context. Token counts are approximate unless a provider supplies its own tokenizer.

Max output tokens per request (raise if answers are cut off)

Default 16384. If the AI's answer is still truncated mid-sentence, raise this (some providers cap it lower).

AXION Search

AXION Search is the only search provider. It runs as an agent tool in the background and cannot be disabled in Settings. If a result contains only a URL, independent page-content fallbacks are attempted.
